not sure if this is correct section feel free to move admin

i have a s reg corolla g6

today saw my 1sr real problem

total loss of all power to electric`s nothing at all like Battery had been removed

only way to get it started was to take live feed to top of alternator whare 2 wires bolt on to it with10mm nut

has anyone had similar problem`s?

once started wire can be removed and it still runs

then if you switch it off completely dead

is it alternator fubared??

need help cheer`s

Car been jump started? If so it might have blown the main fuse (80, 100amp or whatever it is on yours)

When you have it running, what is the voltage across the Battery 13-14v?

Have it running, take red positive off from the Battery..if it dies the alternator is dead, if not erm im not sure!

been at it all day finally got it

it was live from alt to Battery had broken

this caused it to lose all power

it was 2 wires joined to 1 single wire at Battery inside the sheathing, bared back wires cut stupin end off fitted new end job done running sweet again
