My name is Andrew Cliffe. I'm 29. I bought a Sera in 1998 after seeing one at an auction in 1992.

I started the Sera club and started supporting the Sera as Toyota didn't want to know.

I work for a company called Omicron Engineering, really Lancia specialists, involved in supply, design and manufacture of spare parts, but also full workshop facilities - engine work, suspension / brakes / steering, bodywork and race prep.

I'm restoring a Lancia Montecarlo in my spare time to look like a Lancia 037. Doing all the work myself...

When I'm not doing car stuff I am into amateur dramatics. Not the on stage stuff, but I do the sound and lighting for about 5 local groups, and am currently doing an opera.

I'm married. No kids but 4 cats instead.

Well, I'm 38 :crybaby: I live in Chester-le-Street 6 miles north of Durham, married and have an 8 year old son.

I'm assistant manager at a large motor factors in Newcastle.

Main interest is bikes, now's first time I've been without one since I was 16 :( Sold it last year as I wanted a car and didn't ride a much as I should. Was a tough decision but at least my son can come along in the car. Might get an off roader shortly, less chance of getting wiped out! Got a 45 gallon reef tank in lounge (corals, anenomes etc) and a 42 gallon fish only marine tank in hallway that take a bit of looking after.

Bought the car as it was something different liked the looks and it handled so well.

And for my sins I follow Newcastle United :P

Name: Matt Hillyard

Age: 19!!! 20 soon :(

Location: Ipswich, suffolk or Norwich, Norfolk.

The reason i have 2 locations is becuase i am a student currently studying accounting and finance at UEA (university of east anglia). I used to have a little scooter then a cagiva planet 125 but sold it to get a car. I did my test so i can always get a bike when i want.

My first car was a 5dr 1.1 ford fiesta and got rid of that quickly to get my seo. I only really had the fiesta for about 3-6months! I got the seo through the family as my dad had just bought a new MR2 and i bought the seo off him.

My hobbies are mainly my car, motorbikes, mountian biking, music, women, beer. Not in that order though!! :D I also have a little claim to fame as i won the east anglian cross country mountain bike champoinship, that was a while ago now tho!

As far as my seo goes its an ongonig project that started life as a seo si and is constantly changing.

This weekend im fitting some front Speakers and will soon be fitting lowering springs, x-racing kit, induction kit, strut brace, exhaust backbox and more neons. This will hopefully be done for JAE if i can get my a**e in gear and work loads!!!!

And thats a bit of my life history! lol. :D  :P

Name: Jon Jacobs

Age: 24

I'm from Edinburgh and I make my money (hahahahahahahaha! etc.) as a musician, playing guitar and singing in bands and teaching. I know absolutely jack about cars, so I came on here with the hope of learning a bit. My previous cars were: A vauhall cavalier (crud, totalled it on the west coast of scotland 'cos I tried to make it turn a corner a wee bit faster than it actually could, my neck still makes funny sounds if i turn my head too fast.....), An ancient Nissan Bluebird (which was actually pretty cool) and a citroen saxo, so as you can prolly imagine, I've never had anything worth tuning (until now). Used to play a bit of Rugby, but I discovered that smoking and drinking were actually much more fun.

Well i'm an agricultural mechanic, i'm in my last year doing a HNC in engineering. I'm 21 and was into the whole modding scene but now my attention has mainly become focused on the Jap scene. What they are upto over there and how they tune there cars.

I hope either next year or the year after to take a trip over there and take in the Tokyo autosalon and some of the main EP tuning companies such as JAM and Cruise Power.

Most of my time is either spent at work, doing college work or on the car oh and try to fit the girlfriend (suze) in there somewhere

The starlet is under constant development and i'm trying to keep to a true JDM style as possible.

Simon

Robert Brockman

41 years, very old...

I live in Gig Harbor Washington USA

I am a support director for a video card company in Redmond Wa.

Been in and around cars since before most of you were born :)

I became an auto tech in the mid 80's and started out with a few clunker American cars. I then went into the military and my interest in muscle cars bloomed.

I had a 1970 Cuda 440 6 pack car that I rebuilt from the ground up over 5 years.

It dynoed at 627WHP and almost caused a divorce...

I obtained a rare 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury that had the original 383 Ci motor and floor shifter (What a beauty of a car that was...)

Then my taste's changed and for some reason I moved onto VW bugs, my pride and joy's being a 59' non-oval window car and then a 1971 show car with a jugged 1960cc 145HP motor. After having 20+ Beetles I moved to Scooby's and had them exclusively for many years. At last count I think I have owned 50+ cars in the 26+ years I have been driving not to mention the 10 or so bikes including a 1985 Yamaha VMAX

My wife and I wanted to get 2 newer cars and after haggling for hours on my new 200sx for commuting, bought it and drove it home.

On the way home I spotted a tidy little red sporty car for my very practical wife.

We test drove the 92 Seo and with 2 other people in line waiting to drive it I didn't haggle and bought it on the spot for the Mrs.

We got both new cars home at the same time and the first thing my wife does is put her portable physical therapy table in the trunk of each car.

Guess which one the table DIDN'T fit in? :)

Hence I defaulted to the Seo as my commuter and te rest is history.

I can never leave anything alone so I started tuning the Seo.

That was 9 months or so now...

I live with my girlfriend Katie and we're getting married on June 26 this year ( :o ) I'm art editor for Practical Caravan magazine (I'm into design – not the subject matter!) and I'm 31.

Had my Sera for about 2 and a half years and is an on-going project but currently all cash is going toward the wedding. I love cars, my Sera is my 11th – I've previously had an Austin Metro, MG Metro, Ford XR3, Toyota Celica ST, Toyota Celica GT, MG Midget, Toyota Celica ST (again!), Mazda 323, Honda Prelude XX and Honda Civic in that order. I hope to take my Motorcycle test next year. and I love all things Japanese :)

Hello,

My name is Nathan Gibson and I drive a Starlet SR. I live in a little mining village called Rossington, which is near Doncaster South Yorkshire. I live with my girlfriend Alex, we are both 24.

I have always been really big into cars from an early age, and was always interested in the custom/modifying scene. But I'm only really interested in the Jap scene nowadays due the Max Poo idiots  Not that only following the Jap scene is a bad thing

I'm in the process of modifying my car, it will have a turbo in it sometime soon  But I bought a house with Alex last year and we're getting married in September this year, so the car modifying's in limbo at the minute!!!

Oh yeah..

I'm an Electrical craftsman in a Power Station and I'm in the process of finishing my HND in Electrical Engineering

My name is Garret Laborde. I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA. I drive a 1996 Toyota Tercel STD/DX with a 4E-FTE transplant in it. Yes, turbo is great.

I'm 20 years young, I started a tiling job (small local business) two weeks ago and it's not enough to pay the bills so, starting this week I'm looking for a part time night job.

I've owned a couple of cars so far, first was a hand-me-down Sentra E 1.6L (dead now) and the second vehicle was an Isuzu Humbre truck that was quite pimp. Wouldn't die (eventually did from what I hear from the guy I sold it to @ 220,XXX miles on it). One after than was another Sentra, although XE model this time, fully loaded... totalled it after six months. Don't sleep behind the wheel kids! And then I needed a car quite bad, and happened upon the Tercel. Hadn't even heard of them before seeing this one on the lot, but I bought it anyway. That was almost two years ago.

So, now I'm driving around in a Starlet GT powered turbo Tercel... Like that? I do.
