Just Purchased Avensis :-) Timing Belt Question

I just purchased an Avensis 2.2 D-4D T3 from a main Toyota dealer. It's an 07 plate. One owner, FSH, approved used etc. It's beautiful to drive, and like new inside and out. Picked it up for £5500. They checked the VIN, warranty and service record (all carried out at the supplying dealer) and there seems to be no head gasket issue with this car.

The mileage is 51,000.

I'm confused on the on timing belt. I understand this model has a chain not a belt. Some posters on this forum are saying the chain doesn't need changing (unlike a belt)

However, my next major service is at 60,000 and in the service book it says 'additional items' cambelt change.

Is this something that should be done given it has a chain?

Enjoying my first Toyota.

Thanks.

Nothing needs to be done, had the same questions when I first purchased mine. Enjoy your new Toyota

It will be a general list to cover all models. Change/replace/adjust just those items that apply to your model.
