Headlights Problem

Hi all,

Just wanted to run this past you, couple of days ago the headlight bulb on the left stop working. I've ordered a new pair online and shoutd arrive shortly.

However, I drove it tonight and had to engage the beam lights, and for some reason the left side bulb lit up, and this is just for beam lights, switching it back to normal night light turns the bulb off ....

I guess this is probably not normal, what should I check to see what the problem is?

The bulb is dual filament, controls both dipped and full beam. The dipped beam filament has gone but the full beam is ok. Nothing to worry about, just get a new bulb in there
