Hi Lads /Lasses

I recently had a weird situation where my 2.2 TSpirit would'nt select reverse 1st or 2nd gear only 3rd onwards after i stopped at a set of traffic lights

I had to give the gear lever a sharp bang to the left to free it off

then all the gears would select

since then occasionally the gear change gets a little stiffer between 1st and 2nd gear

Any Ideas as to what the problem is ....the clutch is ok...i think it may be a gear change /cable /rod ( what ever the mechanism is) adjustment ...what do you lads /lasses think

Sounds like a cable problem to me. How's the box oil? Has is been changed?
