New engine replacement after head gasket failure 7 weeks ago, 500 miles later one of the injectors died costing me a nice round £600. Now the !Removed! thing is miss firing again, not all the time, only when I change down gear for a set of light etc and then accelerate again. Car ran perfect before it went in for the engine replacement, any ideas before I get charged another £600 for another sudden fault that can occur at any time (allegedly) :(

is new engine covered by warranty?

600 pounds is huge amount and supposed not reasonable. if engine is under warranty then it is better to claim it from the seller.

is engine sterted well? regards / Igor
