Cold Weather And Low Mpg?

Oh, I forgot to mention I have had the car from new and have done 37,000 miles and apart from the first 3,000 to 4,000 miles (which it did do a little less mpg) the car has averaged 68mpg. The day I picked the car up I drove it 50 metres around the corner and added a bottle of ZX1 Engine Lube and have done so every year since.

I'll give the ZX1 a try, once I find somewhere that sells it. I recently changed my plugs and filter, but have had a strange almost misfire type hesitation since when cruising between 20-30 mph, which is most of the time as I mostly drive in London.

I'm thinking about swapping the plugs back to the old Denso units to see if it's them first.
