My '05 Corolla Tte Compressor

Recommended Posts

Well, it happened and i finally took the plunge and spent my hard earned cash. I got this from Kev of this forum, who was an utter pleasure to deal with and has looked after the car since it was pritty much new. I hope the funds get your E10 all up and running, i cant wait to see it on the road

Been out in it all night and only managed to grab two shots as it was dark by the time i got back. Will post up some more when i get chance over the week :)

Not got much planned for this one, fit my 17" TTE alloys onto it, have the front splitter resprayed due to stone chips (its mad how the splitters covered in them but the bumpers fine!) and a good polish. Its fast enough for what i want, as boy does it shift :D

Ive ordered a few little touches, they should be here over the next week ;)

I was really in two minds about buying one, id poored alot into the E11 and have only had it a year so not really had my money out of it. On the way there i was still myself im stupid for getting rid of the E11, and it was only untill i got to some local roads where i could push the compressor a little bit that i realised id made a huge mistake. That was, not buying one of these in the first place! I dont think i will have any major regrets as its a massive step up in every aspect, so glad i ignored myself  Anyway enough of my rambling, i shall post up a huge amount of photos as soon as i can :D

Thanks kev

The car doesnt feel like mine yet, feels like ive borrowed it or something

Got a couple of bits coming for it tomorrow, most importantly a tyre to get the TTE alloys on it :D

Is the dash lights standard? As i thought the centre console was supposed to be green? Its saved me a job changing it all to red to match the dials but if youve done it, youve done a cracking job of it mate! Looks fantastic!

If you ever need a hand with anything, give us a shout as im not that far away :) thanks once again mate!

awesome car mate :) to bad your giving up the e11 but a really nice upgrade ;)

i had a question about the t-sport suspension... is the rear suspension a individual setup (like the e11) or the type where both sides are "connected" (in lack of better words :nerd: )

Thanks mate. No the rear isnt a individual set up on these, they use a beam :)

Gave the car a good clean today. Love using the Snow Foam :D

I didnt wash the compressor alloys as well, i dont like them, will never like them and refuse to spend like half hour to wash one wheel

I went to fit the TTE alloys and the nuts on the car are wrong as the flat based. The TTE ones require 60 tappered ones, ive ordered them an theyll be here by sunday when i have the day off again.

Some parts turned up today, first of all....

Brand new genuine toyota Tsport carpet mats ;) as the car didnt have any fitted. Paid a bargin price of £46 of ebay for them

And fitted (they come with all fixings for the drivers side too :D)

Very nice Steven :-)

Thanks mate, was a shame to pull the E11 apart but i honestly wont look back :) its exactly what i wanted out of it

Put the TTE alloys on it, looks a million times better than the standard compressor alloys :D

Thanks :) Yellow boxes?

I havent done anything to this one yet other than wash it with dodo juice lime prime lite and a wookie fist.

I do have a full detailing kit, machine polisher, 3m polish and pads dodo juice waxes etc etc but havent got round to using them on this car yet :)

Really amazing car... Just like new...

But it's sad to see that the amazing E11 you had is going to retire... But the project you've done with it is really a muse to me...

Cheers

The E11 was pulled apart last week and the base car rests with a friend at works girlfriend to be used as a cheep run about. I doubt itll ever recieve the care it had with what i and the previous owners gave it, but needs must and it had to be sold :(

The compressors a much better car in general TBH. I dont actually need to do anything to it as it has the bodykit/wheels/performance i want from it in standard form. It just needs a few little touches and itll be how i want it :)

Ive done the full JDM lights to the rear of the car. Ill post up a vid and a tutorial of how i did it when i get chance :)

Me and Noedel (also on this forum) have the exact same JDM Taillights ;)

So of course i'm a fan of it! ;)
