The front windscreen washers on my 2002 yaris have stopped working. I've suspected that the motor has stooped working as there is no noise!

Now i am after some pointers on how to remove it to check it over, I can imagine that it will be awkward one

Never done it but Haynes says:

Remove front bumper.

Remove driver's side headlamp.

Disconnect washer pump wiring plug.

Disconnect pump from washer bottle.

Recover rubber sealing grommet.

Refit in reverse.

I have done this job. Remove the offside roadwheel. Undo the wheelarch liner from the lower bumper lip, then release to the top of the wheel arch, (various clips screws etc) you then have access to the pump, it pulls out from the sealing grommet. Removing the bumper etc. is only really necessary when renewing the washer bottle. Be sure to be seated when Toyota tell you the price! If I remember around £70 three years ago

Check the supply wire for 12v. from the switch first. If there is no power then the switch is faulty.
