Electric Window Not Working

I have a 2007 deisel Yaris. The front passengers electric window is in the closed position and will not open or even move.

There is not any noise coming from it. I have tried operating the switch on the drivers and passenger doors, but nothing happens.

Outside temperature is above freezing, so that is not a problem. Any ideas ?

Broken wire in the run to the door or loose connection or electric motor seized.

(IIRC the same fuse covers both windows so unlikely to be a fuse).

Have you by any chance pressed the button on the drivers side next to the 'windows' buttons.

This button disables the passengers window!!

Thanks for the reply. Yes the window disabling button had been moved.

Not something I have ever touched, but it seems the dog has !

Many thanks.

This problem has turned up on here at least once before.

I managed to do knock the switch a while back & wondered why the passenger window wouldn't go down.
