I do not have any problems. Everything is ok after 10000 miles. My average fuel consumption is 7.8 l/100km (≈ 36 mpg) and is because the most time I drive in the city. I made this post because I heard a lot about TOYOTA ΄s reliability. Since yesterday no one mentioned any problems with their T180 which shows that the problem in solved.

Hi

We had our engine replaced in Oct 2011 (but only done 6k) and still have problems, in fact we now have more problems! It seems it is mostly to do with the EGR valve which we replaced in March but after 300 miles our management light has come on again. I want to get rid of the car as I have lost all faith in it and Toyota :-(

I understand how you feel but if somebody charged you for the EGR valve they should be explaining why it didn't work.

Warranty on the replacement engine is for one year.. You still have the balance of the 7 year extended warranty if applicable..

Take it back plain and simple.. If no joy at the dealer contact Toyota GB without delay !!!
