Rear Light Water Logged

Hi, Both rear lights were changed under warranty as after a harsh winter 2 years ago I found moisture forming in both. All well up until a month agowhen I found an inch of water in one (driver side) and is not going away. I was thinking of changing the unit myself if possible - should I buy the unit from an aftermarket place or from Toyota? is it difficult to change? many thanks for your help in advance Oz
