I am getting close to buying a LC but would like to know about the underbody spare wheel. I think it is a given that it will be a nightmare to get at on a wet day but is there a theft problem ? The other car I'm looking into is a Santa Fe but that seems to suffer from wheel theft by a cable being cut.

I think you can only access the spare when the rear door is open
