Wopa 0
So the little lady says her car feels more 'thuddy' than usual when going over potholes and uneven road surfaces.Obvious suspect is shock absorbers, any guides knocking about? Anyone done replacements in the past/would recommend a particular brand (don't fancy paying OEM prices) would you do springs at the same time? Thanks in advance. madvinegar 12
That could be something to do with the colder weather or maybe even tyre pressures..........not necessarily the shock absorbers+1During cold weather, even the shock absorbers need some time/driving around to warm up, loosen up and stop feeling stiff. (the Oil in them must warm up).On the other hand, the volume of the air in the tyres decreases with cold weather, so the tyres seem more flat.Generally speaking, when the weather is cold, the car usually feels stiffer overall (the metals, the shocks, the pedals, the gears etc) and needs some time to warm up.
