Hi,

Just joined today!

We have 3 Toyotas (also 1 Hyundai Santa Fe!). Our Toyotas are 1 x 53 plate 1.8 T3-x Avensis Tourer and 1 x Y plate MR2 Roadster and 1 x 56 plate MR2 Roadster TF300. Sadly, the Y plate 2 will likely be sold in the Spring/Summer time as just can't keep 4 cars!

Also a member of MR2ROC & MR2OC.

Welcome Caroline! We also had an MR2 TF300 ('06 plate - TF057) which we bought new and loved it in the summer but eventually, couldn't justify a second car that spent most of the year in the garage! Only have one now and that is a wonderful Grey GT86 that has brought me back to the Toyota fold once more. Driving around the Trossachs is a joy again! :D (just like it was in the MR2!)

Hi all, thanks for the welcome!

We really only need 2 cars for 2 people but we'll likely have 3 and keep the TF300 in the garage once we sell the oldie :-( . We did think about a RAV 4 as our 4x4 car but it was really too small and the Landcruiser prices are just way out of our price range so next best was our Hyundai - Santa Fe 2.2 7 seater Diesel! We have been Toyota people since 1994 and have had 2 Corollas, 2 Avensis, 1 Yaris and 2 MR2s!

Colin, I would love a GT86 but have heard some not so good things about it ;-( but ALL cars have problems and you sound as if you are having a great time with it! Our TF is 115 and a blue '56.

Owen, I'll have to try and work out how to put pics on here (I'm not very computer literate!) and after they have been washed.

Colin, they both look great! I actually wanted a black 2 but buying a used car is a bit like rescuing dogs......you take what you get and the most suitable for you!! Our Santa is black though :-). I would love a white GT86 (white MR-S look great too) but we have had really bad luck with white cars (all 5 of them!) so even if I could afford one right now, it wouldn't be a white!
