New Owner, Dvd Audio To Car Audio?

Hi,

I have had my verso for a couple of days, I tested the DVD player with a USB stick - working luckily as I didn't test it before! I also discovered 2 headphones for the mini screens, one unfortunately is broken on one side.

I have seen a few devices to install which will send the screen audio to the car Speakers, FM transmitter and some other little black box. The links are out of date going back a few years, what are people using now? Also, I have spotted what looks like phono ports behind the handbrake in the square box, are these input or output?

My kids will destroy the headphones so I would prefer to get the audio over the car Speakers, also I notice that the dvd system reads MP3s too so handy for car audio.
