Well after just over 6 years we have just said goodbye to our Aygo.

It has been swapped for a Hyundai i20.

We bought a new i20 last April to replace our 2007 Mazda 2. Bit more economical than the 2, bigger boot (which is partly what we were looking for) and better equipped (bluetooth, etc). Been very pleased with ours. Hope you enjoy it.

i20 are very good cars IMHO. Kia/Hyundai are getting the styling spt on IMHO and with decent warranty support make for a very tempting package. I've already stated our plan is to keep our Aygo until its 5th birthday at the very least, primarily down to the fact that we can't renew the warranty beyond 5 years.

Not sure what we'd get, but being the 4th car in our household, next car will have some big shoes to fill!

The I20 is a nice car. My Aygo stays for now. Not had any problems with her bar the starter motor. Im tempted with the I20 in the future aybe when Hyundai clean up their engines further. I dont like to pay more than £20 for road tax.

All the best with the new car.

We paid zero road tax for the first year on our i20 and currently 30 pounds a year for second year plus. Not bad for a bigger car than the Aygo.

Now, that sounds tempting! £30 a year for road tax....................er, ok.....bye bye Aygo! lol.

I did read up on the I20. Its around 122 on the omissions. Is that why its £30 a year?

In the VED C band - 111 to 120 g/km. Think its the band above the Aygo.
