Horn Relay

Could some please tell me where I would find the horn relay?

The book of lies (haynes) says it is in the fuse box under the bonnet but all there is is the micro fuses and 3 slow blow fuses and no relays.

Fitted a new horn at the weekend and it doesn't work after working for a brief second.

No fuses blown, good earth and now all I can think is its the relay.

I peered under the bonnet today and can't even see where the horn is LOL ;-)

Its inbetween the radiator and the bumper bolted on to the front panel.

You have to take the bumper off to get to it, five minute job.

so what was the cause for the horn not working ???

it would be nice for members to leave a reply saying what the problem was and how they managed to resolve the issue

by doing this it would give other aygo'ers the knowledge thay may help them in the future

rather then saying "problem sorted" as this is no help to anyone.

Thanks, so about 4 bolts underneath and a couple under the bonnet yeah? ...........I am going to fit a pair of those 'snail' horns ;-)

I'm not quite sure what was causing the fuses to blow.

All I done was striped it down and reinstalled all the wiring and horn in the exact same way as before and its been fine since.

They were some old fuses that have been knocking around for a while so I think it may have been faulty fuses rather than faulty wiring. It was a short that caused the first one to blow for me to replace it in the first place.
