How To Track Yaris Mpg

Hello Guys,

Could you shed some light on how do u track the mpg of yaris.? I have bought last week a used toyota yaris 1.0 vvti t3 2004 manf in France, 55000 miles

is it through the inbuilt system ( nuvi) if yes then how?

is it manually like recording the odometer before filling the tank and then again when refilling it next time.

just share your experience about how much u get mpg ( make/model : mpg figure)
