Help! Clutch And Gears

I have recently had a new clutch in my toyota yaris gls 2003, which was extremly soft at first but seems to eased and i have gotta used to it. however, this past week my gears have been EXTREMELY! difficulty to get into gear! it is such a struggle! I have taken it back to the machanic who will be having another look at it, but.... has anyone got any advice on what it may be!??? :)
