First Flat Tire On The Iq...

So I'm heading to Arizona for a car show and find twenty miles into my trip that I've picked up a nail. The left rear passenger side is going flat. I pull off the highway and get a can of Fix-A-Flat. No go on that, it's just shooting out the hole. I call AAA and they send a tow truck to pick up the iQ. I was really nervous since this is the first time the iQ has been on a tow truck. The driver was very patient with my concerns and very gentle with the car.

I grabbed my stock steelies and put them on the iQ then headed for Arizona. Just as I started to leave it started pouring rain...

I passed a new iQ from Longo Scion close to Indio on the I10...

I made it safely to Arizona...

Many thanks to Gilberto from Armstrong Towing for being gentle with the iQ and to Patrick Kwon for the nice photo.

Nice. Not that you got a puncture, that Gilberto the tow guy listened to you about being gentle with your pride and joy. Good you still made it to the show and really good photo by Patrick Kwon, really sharp and in focus. IT RAINED? Oh dear.

Just an aside here, I passed a car same colour as ours today going in the opposite direction, think it was an iQ2 or 3, silver mirrors, looked nice and clean, unlike our mud splattered car. Didin't have time to wave or anything, besides, was on dual carriageway.

That is my GoPro Hero2 on the driver door. Most of the footage shot on the trip was hazy due to the rain. I have a GoPro Hero and Hero 3 as well. I really enjoy these little cameras. Once I get some nice footage I'll post up some links.

To give you an idea of how nice they record you can check these out...

Sorry to hear about the unfortunate turn of events. However, those stock rims and cover still looks amazing and matches well with the Lowest IQ. I also have the same wheel cover for my winter tires. Unfortunately for me earlier tonight, I tried to make a U-turn and didn't see the raise curb median. It ripped apart the plastic wheel well cover on the front right passenger side along with the mud flap attached to the front bumper. I blamed myself for making a haste driving decision and not seeing clearly at night with the dark window tint. Do you happen to know if that is an expensive part to replace and install?

thanks,

Tony
