Iq Lighter Fuse

Hi guys,

we've just moved house and so some of our irregular items have gone astray, sadly one of those items is my IQ Owners Manual. I'm sure I'll find it when I'm on the hunt for something else but in the meantime I really need to find out what the fuse number is for the cigarette lighter socket as it's stopped working.

I've been to all sorts of places asking for advice and they all keep telling my the same thing - to check my owners manual! Even the Toyota branch where I got the car from said they are unable to get the info.

So that's my problem. Do you think any one of you lovely people would be able to tell me what fuse I need to get? It would be much appreciated if so.

Thanks in advance.

My manual is not near me at the moment but I am sure others will be able to help, but in my experience of the the auxiliary power socket the inline fuse in the plug that goes into it, ie the plug attached to the accessory you are using, has blown before the one in the fuse box.

Have you checked that fuse is OK? It is usually taken out by unscrewing the end of the accessory plug.

Just checked the manual and it says it is fuse #14, in the bank under the Instrument panel. Which is the one (I think) behind the panel above the front passengers footwell (RHD).
