Oil Maintenance Light

Hi, The oil maintenance light is showing, on my 2.2 Avensis (07 plate) Anybody any ideas how to turn it off.

I have seen previous post regarding this, but its not very clear and i cant reset it.

Instruction are in your owners manual, if you haven't got one I will look later today.

Hi Pete, in the manual it says turn the key to acc with the odometer shown, when the key is in that position everything is blank except the sat nav.. I'm i missing something here ????

You may need to go past it to get everything up, and then return. Not sure, just a guess.

Still no joy trying to reset it, had oil & filter changed about a month ago.

If anybody can help it would be much appreciated

Try this,

Turn ignition on

Press trip button to display odometer reading

Turn ignition off

Press and hold trip button

Switch ignition on and hold trip button until display goes blank

Display will show 000000 and the service light will go out

When odometer is displayed service light is reset.
