Toyota Corolla 1.3 Dx 1986 (Ee80)

Recommended Posts

Hy everyone!

My name is Fernando Gomes, i'am from Portugal.

Finally i found a decent forum to help me in my project.

I have a Corolla 1.3 Dx from 1986 since 2004, i drove it for about 2 years, then it break down.

So, with already two other cars, i decided to keep the toyota in the garage, and its been there since 2006, until today.

So, nine years later, i finally decided to repair it to perfection, and make some upgrades, it's going to be a sunday car, only to enjoy.

I have plans, that i don't know if its possible to achive:

-> Round air filter?

-> Double carburator or turbo?

-> Paint some engine parts.

-> Replace all brake pipes and spark plugs wires.

-> Restore front and rear brakes.

-> New suspension.

-> New wheals.

-> Complete engine restoration, because this actual carborator is falling alot, and not giving "full power" that i want.

-> The interior is great, so no changes. :)

I need, manuals, ideas, where to buy parts, advices for various materials....

Thanks, hope to see some of you in the road... ;)

Hi there! Nice project!

However i would as well suggest you not to forget about bushing. :D

Not because that i am over drooling on SuperPro (Aus) bushings but they would really helps in firming up your chasis really than adding more bars around. Cheers
