Windscreen Washer Jets

Hi. The drivers side screen washer jet is partially blocked ( very poor spray compared to passenger side )

Went to remove for cleaning but not wanting to use brute force can't get it out of the bonnet

Suggestions would be most appreciated.

Do NOT try to remove it. It will break.

Instead use a fine sewing needle to poke down the spray holes in the nozzles.

Thanks for your replies folks. Have tried the block one and hopefully the other will clear. No joy. Same with poking with a needle.

Next step is to remove bonnet insulation and see what lies in the tubing. Maybe a filter of some sorts.

Anyone got some clues.

Removed the bonnet sound proofing and found a fancy non return valve. Trying to clean this out was not successful. Replaced this with a T piece and an in-line non return valve. All OK now. You don't want to know what Toyota were asking for a replacement part.

Thanks again for the feed back.
