Driving my diesel 2005 RAV last night and accelerating uphill the VSC and engine fault lights came on and car went into limp mode.

Managed to pull up in a layby ,switched off the engine ,waited for a couple of minutes,Switched on again VSC light was off ,engine fault light still on.Power now OK ,got home connected my fault code reader which came up as P1251.Car ok this morning and I had also cancelled the light with the reader.

Anyone had similar problems.Hope its not the turbo ,car has done 89000 miles

Just search - there are loads recently. Chuck out the fuel filter before embarking on major tail chasing.
