1. What is the current generation??
2. When was it released??
3. Is a Facelift / New Model imminent??

Current Prius is Gen 3, facelifted late last year, so nothing new on horizon.

Prius is a family brand which in the UK covers the standard Gen3 Prius, the Plugin Prius, and the Prius+. Other Prius models are available in other countries.

Here's the key to which generation a Prus is.

The NHW10 and NWH11 = 1st generation (sold in UK upto late 2003)

NHW20 = 2nd generation (sold in UK late 2003 to late 2009)

ZVW30 and ZVW35 = 3rd generation (sold in UK late 2009 to date, the "35" model is the Plug In version as of mid-2012)
