I have an Avenis D4D 51 plate, 212,000 miles so far except for: Occasionally the radio starts to crackle with bad interference and sometimes goes off altogether.The sound might return in seconds or could take 30 mins. When this happens the interior courtesy light also stops working. Any ideas please.

Dodgy connector somewhere, either the easiest fix you've ever stumbled across, or the hardest thing you've tried in vain to track down. Just my guess.
