Windscreen Misting

the windscreen misted up quiet badly the other night when we got in the car after getting caught in the rain

there are no leaks in the boot (been fixed) and the front and rear floor pans are dry (checked today)

do the cars just suffer from having a bad ventilation system fitted .

i have given the pollen filter a clean out as it was starting to clog up as this may reduce the air flow entering

the car is there anything else i can check???

Have you checked that the air intake lever is not set to recirculate

To demist efficiently you must have fresh air coming in from outside the car

If you have Aircon it is usefull to have that switched on when demisting

Wet bodies entering a car on a wet day - the combination may have been enough to just prolong the misting up in the car.

yeah very possible frosty just thought i would ask in case there is something i could do to make it better

i could maybe get the aircon checked as it may need re gassing
