I'm looking for an engine oil to top-up my 61-plate Aygo Go! when it needs it. Bought it 7 months ago from the local RRG so I reckon it's due a drop. Found different suggestions on the internet when I've searched. :boxed:

I've picked up Castrol Edge 0W-40 fully synthetic today, would this be ok? Don't have the handbook to hand.

0W-30 is the oil recommended but 0W-40 Castrol,Edge is quite acceptable

The critical number is the 0W.......as this helps cold starting and aids economy :)

Have you checked your oil level? My "61" Aygo hasn't used any between services.
