ok lads wana know who all has an EP91 shape starlet either SR or standard that they have put a dics conversion into??

what all was envolved?

what did u do about the ABS sensors (jus leave them disconnected)

and is it really worth the hassel of changin it all over????

Talk to NosydneW on toyotaownersclub.com He's converted a EP91 to rear discs using a EP82 Starlet Turbo (non-ABS version)

Have you got one yet?

Leave the ABS sensors disconnected, unless of course you have ABS!!!!

The only problem you will come across when fitting it is:

Where the two handbrake cables come from the drums and meet with the main cable the that goes to your handbrake, there is a heat shield to protect it from the exhaust. This needs to be removed to gain access to these and then replacing when finished.

An easy job and its worth while putting braided hoses, 5.1DOT Fluid in when your doing!!!

I did this swap on 2 USDM Tercels myself. Starlet disk axles are available with or without ABS. Also `93 seems to have larger stoppers on the e-brake cables than pre93.

no i havent been able to source one over here yet but as soon as i get one its goin on.

jus wonderin who all tells the insurance about this? i know its the right thing to do! <_< are they ok with it?
