?anyone Identify This Part....egr Related

Seeing as we are having some great weather just now i thought i'd set about cleaning the EGR valve,its not that much of a job really and it was caked up with carbon,,However i had a socket stuck fast on the left upper nut so i foolishly tried to lever it off and i ended up cracking some kind of valve above the EGR...

Here are some pics of the above mentioned valve??..Question is?does anyone know what it does,?will my car still run ok

With vacuum pipes attached like that it appears to be vacuum sensing valve, can you see any part numbers on it? with a part number I should be able to look it up, Toyota part numbers are 5 digits a dash and 5 digits #####-#####
