The only thing that lets my '04 5-door Rav down is the badly corroded alloys on it..

Been looking at replacing all 4 alloys for some new ones & need to know the wheel offset?

Don't suppose any of you chaps know, eh?

Going for a standard size replacement 16" wheel...

Say, also, could anyone recommend a good make of wheel to fit please?

If you have a look at one of your existing wheels, the size should be cast into the inside of the wheel, maybe on one of the spokes giving the offset info.

Thats how I bought my latest set of Dare 18" alloys

Here is some info re the RAV 4.2 Wheels ....

You could get the old wheels sorted out and looking smart again for less then the cost of those wheels you are looking at and would be able to avoid possible insurance complications with change of spec, etc. :)

Also, the links for both the new wheels proposed, or the wheel size info, have no mentions of the Centre Bore size? It is VITAL that is correct as too small and the wheel cannot be fitted, and if too large, it will be unsafe and eventually the bolts will sheer off.

EDIT: this is for RAV4.2 Wheels as per posters vehicle (RAV4.3 has identical requirements though!)

Toyota do offer refurbished alloys priced from £75.00 per wheel so it is possible to swap your wheels for refurb ones at your local dealer.

:) Nice one guys & thanks for the info..

Only reason I'm thinking of replacing the Toyota wheels is I've heard they have a reputation for cracking??

Must say they do feel a bit thin around the spokes..

The OZ MSW's have TUV approval where many other wheels didn't..

Going to opt for a set of these as all the required dimensions match too..

Will nail a few piccy's up when fitted.

Not aware of 'cracking' but they certainly bubble up and scab.......................

I've never heard of cracking either. Corrosion and air leaking are common though after quite a few years.
