Yokohama Geolander Tyres

Hello All,

Can anyone advise as to the difference between Yokohama 235x60x16

Geolanders GO 12s and GO33. I have GO 33 on my1999 Rav4 Heat and I am having difficulty finding GO33s.

I have had GO 33s on the car since new. Last one cost me 150 GBP having hit a pothole.

I need another one . I may have to get another set if the difficulty prevails I am disabled now and I cannot run around to check the locals out.

I would also like to find out a bit more about the dating on the tyre. Mine seem to have the code YYY and not he DOT mentioned on them and then 4 numbers to follow. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you Blackbear.

Just a thought, but you could try contacting the various tyre company's, and see if you get any input from them. I assume you want to match tyres, but if your opposite one is worn as well, you may be well advised to change both tyres on the same axle, then the world is your lobster for tyre choice!!

Just done a google images search for GO12's .....shows them as an all terrain tyre.

I've had these on mine for years now.

Each set seems to do about 60'000 miles, and the shoulder really digs in to loose ground & snow..they just grip !

They are a little noisey on road though....but that's just part of owning them for me.they look a chunky tyre for a Rav4 without being too OTT.

I may even consider a M / T next time.

GO33's appear to be more of a road tyre.

I source mine from Universal tyres in Colchester,£105 per tyre fitted.....other branches nationwide
