Oil Leak

I begin to fear what today I find out in the service , last night i found a leak of oil on the flor and alternator is make noise which can be becouse is covered with oil .

i had this car for week. whot happen with Toyota AVENSIS 2009 D4D T4.

Hi I found the same problem with my 2009 2.0D4D Avensis alternator is covered in engine oil.Is this a faulty alternator

with a brake vacumn pump leaking on the back of it leaking oil into the brushes ?

Only had the car for a week its 5 years old with 70,000 miles.

Any advice would be appreciated.....thanks

Hi. I just found out that my alternator is also covered in engine oil. Could it be timing chain tensioner seal?
