Hi Everyone

I've had Toyotas for 27 years - all brilliant! At the moment I have my Dad's Tercel 4wd Estate, which he bought in 1986. They must be quite rare now? Anyone know how many are left in the UK?

Hello Lynne - welcome to TOC. There are approx. 35 Tercel 4x4's still registered in the UK.

Welcome Lynne - that is a rare beast indeed ! My dad almost bought one back then, but decided he really didn't need the 4x4 aspect so got a Mazda 323 estate instead. It's probably starting to appreciate in value if it's in good nick :)

Wow! only 35!

It's a great little car and I hope I can keep using it - I have a problem with both wrists and hands at the moment, which makes parking with no power steering pretty painful! So I may be forced to part with it, as I don't have a garage to keep it in. My Dad always kept it garaged and cherished it, so I don't want it to just sit outside not being used.
