Pollen Filter - Changing It

Recommended Posts

Avensis D4-D D-Cat 2006

Just changed the pollen filter on my car - never done it before, always left it to the main dealer. I notice our local main dealer are charging £39 for this service.

DO IT YOURSELF - don`t hesitate

- correct replacement cost me around £10 on Ebay

- job took less than 5 mins and VERY easy

If you`ve got a similar car to me, don't hesitate, it really is quick and easy

Yup. It's on the service schedule but they only ever advise that they are dirty and always charge extra to do it!

The pollen filter and the air filter are dead easy to change and it's much cheaper to buy the part yourself (Even the genuine parts are pretty cheap!) and change them yourself!
