got new panels because one was green tinted and one was brown. Also one had a few bad scratches on it. The edging was also old looking and greying in places.

Yip.... will be up at CRD on Wednesday. They better not have any nice Supras !!! It may be too tempting !!

let me know about the bumper. CRD is only 5 mins from my other house ( where the bumper is )

Hey Jimlad, that Bomex front bumper u got there, can you tell me what is behind the sides on the bumper please? I got one yesterday, and its got like 2 indented squares in the sides, 1 on each side, and was finking of cutting them out and putting mesh on it, but don't know whats behind it. You up in Scotland then Jim? My bumper came from up there, from Ayrshire, cost me 150 quid, and I got a air scoop too for 90 notes. Just need to get clear front inds and side rptrs now.

You better belive it mate, i saw this thing go down the track,

the speed of it was crazy.

It looks a bit different than the site pics now, its got CRD graphics up the sides.

If you get a chance, look into the body shop in the new building across the road,

theres a ferrari kitted mr2 being built and a wide body mr2 with 450bhp in the final stages of paint prep. (Have a look between the tailpipes)

yeah... I was talking about the 450bhp MR2 last time I was there. Didn't see it tho. Was talking to them about doing the same to my motor. :D

Im undecided on the wide body but the engine mods are very clever.

Intercooler pipes run into the boot and out the boot floor.

You can see the cooler from behind the car.

If you look on the website there is a yellow mr2 with the kit on it,

the guy who owns it has just sold it for 14k and bought the veilside supra

(lucky ba****d!)

Jim, if you have saved your old T-bar panels.... Get them sprayed yellow for a sleeker look.... If it goes wrong or you don't like it... You've still got your new 'uns to use.

Toyota are storing my old panels for me. Although it's just the glass because they transfered the seals/locking mech etc over to the new panels.

But I might get them when I get it sprayed to see what it looks like. If it looks good then I'll get them to spray my proper panels.

CRD...I wouldnt buy anything off those guys they are full of cr*p. Rico you remeber my m8 in the black F150 truck? Well hes been looking to buy an R33 GTR and I told him to go down to CRD if he wanted a good ol laff. Well they didnt dissappoint....they had plenty of nice 10 footer cars. You could see they are nice accident-repair bulk buys from Japan which is becoming a real favorite profitable pastime with UK importers these days.

My m8 pulled in with an 2003 Elise which = serious buyer yet it still took MrCRD 15 min to emerge out of the little shack they operate from...great customer service... and he had an unprofessional attitude when the akward questions were asked such as....why is this panel out line if its a grade 4 Mr CRD...why is this skyline a heap inside if its on for £17k..whats with all the gauges...got ex track cars you bought in Japan for pennies? Hell yea you do Mr CRD.

Fortunately he is now intent on purchasing an R33 GTR Nismo1 LM...an ultra rare Nismo model from a very well respected company within Skyline circles called SkylinesRUs.

Wouldnt buy anything car off CRD or Mackays Trading or any of the other importers in Scotland.. its such a dodgy game. Id rather buy it off a Supra specialist like my m8s doin with the Skyline if you want a minter Jimlad.

Oh yea...and Id really check those auction sheets If I were you Jimlad a lot of the importers up here and the rest of the UK use fake sheets....check this out

Auction Sheets Explained

Again its SkylinesRus link. I wish all importers were as genuine as these guys. Im actually seriously considering getting an R33 GTR or GTSt off these guys thier prices are spot on...all cars have one owner, full Nissan service history and fully warrentied. Plus they always buy your car back off you if you want to trade. Spot on.

Ive heard mixed reports about the company but i'll never be in the position

to buy a car from, them so im not worried.

I think jimlad knows them quite well so im sure he'll make his own mind up too.

At the end of the day if the cars they sell were that bad they wouldn't be in

buisness.

A lot of people dont realise they are buying import cars for waaaay over what they are really worth. Importers make such a killing they buy the cars for jack in Japan and people over here are willing to pay the expensive asking price as they dont know any better. Of course not all their cars will be bad...the good ones are overpriced and the 'normal' ones are just plain expensive.

What im advising is if your going to buy a import car your better off with a secialist. They are the best as they are genuine gurus and know the ins and outs of the vehicle they specialise in.

And Jimlad has first hand experience at CRDs handiwork when it comes to tuning. Just ask him what happened that day at Dastek when our Unichips were being fitted and there was a problem with his CRD fitted superchip causing boost creep. Says it all really.

thats the game tho pizza boy. its a market that comapnies like crd can make a killing in.

ur avg person that wants a flash car isnt gonna know ne better so just go to someplace with a F&TF image, ala CRD and buy off them...

the prices do shock me i must admit, but thats business i guess...

CRD seemed to my to buy cars in Japan that were haevily modded and then advertise them as their own work (Yellow MR2 and the Blue Supra for starters).

And after looking on their site at the cars sold that I knew the prices of in Japan, I was shocked ..
