Celica Gen 7 99 Reg Are Apex Lowering Springs Straight Swap

Im looking at an apex lowering kit for my 99 reg Celica gen 7. The supplier informs me that it wouldnt be a straight swap if the shock absorbers are the 2b760 typel. Can anyone confirn this?
