Verso-S 1,33 Multidrive-S, Experiences?

How these Verso-S with Multidrive works? I assume that Yaris have same motor and gearbox?

Is Multidrive gearbox good and reliable?

Motor is 1nr-fe, and I didn't find any problems or big issues.

The toyota Multi Drive system is a continuously variable transmission (CVT)

I have owned both a CVT Verso S and a CVT Yaris and can say that the system is very smooth to drive with no problems

The driving technique has to be modified slightly to "ride the engine revs" to avoid making the engine sound noisy on acceleration, but this is soon mastered

The Toyota CVT has come on a long way since the old DAF Variomatic CVT models and uses more modern materials

Best advice is to try one for yourself at a Toyota dealer to experience how good they are
