Hi can anyone help me out, I've got a 1991 Lexus soarer and I went start it up today and it started then the revs dropped and the car cut out and after that "charge" came up on the dashboard. Does this just mean the Battery needs charging?

Presume you have a Toyota Soarer, rather than the similar Lexus SC - not quite the same cars as there are powertrain differences and performance enhancements. Have a look at http://www.soarerworld.com/forum/showthread.php?p=160400&posted=1#post160400

May the Battery was discharged that's why it is showing this problem. You first charge the Battery and then also the problem will not solve then call mechanic fix the problem.
