Iphone Connection Recommendation.

Hello Chaps,

I am looking for a way to connect up my iPhone to the car stereo.

I have a 2006 Rav4 xt5 with factory fitted navigation.

None of the available gadgets seem to support stereos that have the navigation unit fitted.

Any ideas welcome.

Most of the aftermarket ones plug into the CD changer socket in the radio; I'd assume those would work with yours.

Which ones have you looked at? I use an xcarlink one (Although mine is the non-iPod/phone version), but Grom also make one (The Grom one has slightly better support it seems as they actually offer firmware updates!)

The main thing is to know which socket your radio uses; IF it is already occupied you may need a Y-Cable.

As far as I know tho', the only time these units won't work is if there is already a CD-Changer device attached to the system.
