What do the mirrors do other than reflect?

It was expensive, but with the limited storage options in the front of the car, it works quite well. My wife asked for it, I bought one from Japan, and had our trim guy install it in the car.

It comes with a detailed cardstock template for cutting through the headliner (but only with Japanese instructions), and screws into holes already in the car's metal work. It looks a bit odd on its own, but the design fits the interior (on our Scion iQ at least) quite well.

I have purchased add on led's for that purpose but the ones you have posted look much more clean.
