Yes it is a toy unfortunately

While sorting through the loft and chucking all the junk out we came across this which we never even knew we had.

As you can see it's in rally guise so were the Ravs ever used for rallying??

Looks like this one has been in quite a few :D

Ah, Bless!!

Seriously though I've never seen one of those in model form before. Nice novelty to hang on to.

Not "proper" special stage rallying, to my knowledge.

However, for one of these desert long distance reliability trials, (of which I have done a few in past years, but not in North Africa just now, thank you!) I would think they could do quite well, providing they could find refuelling dumps fairly frequently!

Haven't seen a pink Rav before so i'd have thought it would have been a custom job??

Yes Jim we will be playing i mean keeping it :blushing: .It has the wind up wheels at the back so you can just let it go :driving:

Yes i can see it been a good choice for the desert events now you mention it AW

That reminds me, driving along the M4 this morning I saw an old 3 door Rav in pink or peach, was that a factory colour?

Gus

I have also seen an old 3dr RAV in that colour.

Hi Lee.

Thanks for the link.

I have looked and can't find anything out about the Rav and any rallying, though obviously it took part.
