Daylight Running Lights

just fitted led drl but cant find a power location controlled by ignition switch in the engine bay. has anyone fitted these lights and found a power point.?

any help much appreciated.

If you want to configure these REALLY as DRLs, then picking up the signal from the Ignition switch alone will not do the trick, as DRLs are only meant to come on when the Side or Main lights are off AND the engine is running, not just when the ignition is on.

You can get a intelligent DRL relay that detects the engine running (I guess based on Battery voltage info?) which makes installation much simpler :)

hi f/b had a look at the auris forum but even with help from Tavey I dont think the wireing on the

Auris is the same as thRav4 diesel so I wasn't happy connecting any wires even of the same colour, now Im back to square one. maybe I can get hold of a Rav wireing diagram no doubt it would help.
