Wheel Holder & Cover Giveaway

Hello All,

I'm having a clear out and have these:

21597c983288ce778cf6ce1066cc9434.jpg

to give away. Not perfect as one of the little plastic retainers on

the cover has broken but if someone is handy enough, I'm sure a

fix could be possible. I'm using a soft cover on my spare wheel.

Anyway, giving away to the first person who can collect from Blofield,

just east of Norwich.

Phil.

The plastic retainers can be repaired to be as good as new by the use of hot staple welding (assuming you have the broken part to reattach?!).

Those parts are pretty pricey to replace, so someone is going to be a happy camper :)

Unfortunately I dont have the part as this is how it came to

me when I bought the car.

Still, perhaps someone's investment of a little time and

effort could net them a complete cover. I should say

that it's still very much usable as it is but does rattle

over bumps and clatters when the rear door is closed.

It's got to be worth a punt for someone. I'm moving

house very soon and won't be taking it with me so

it's going to be a small window of opportunity.

Hi All,

these will be going to the tip this weekend if no-one stakes

a claim.

Phil.

Before you dump 'em, why not put them on eBay? You never know - not all RAV owners are TOC members.

Which blue is it? Lagoon (like mine) or Balearic (which it looks like) but I'm a bit far away to take advantage of your very kind offer.

Unfortunately, house move is the priority and these are low on the list. Got to

get cleared asap.

Not sure what the blue is called but my Rav is the darker of those which I've

seen around.

If you are a member of Facebook, have a look for local "for sale" groups that people have set up and cover your area.

I am have just moved house and need to get rid of a load of random gear and have so far got just shy of £800 selling stuff this way in the last week, ranging from a dishwasher, dryer & freezer to 10 year old mobile phones, bottle of helium, chairs, drills, rugs, etc, etc, and I live in a pretty rural area.

Stick it on for "£30, collection only, must go today!" and you will get shot of it :)

If it is the deeper of the 2 blues like my avatar it is Lagoon Blue. The vin plate in the engine bay should start with 8M6 then on the bottom line for the paint code. Shame Huddersfield isn't near Norfolk.

Have you thought about using a courier like parcel2go or parcel monkey, thats if you want the hastle of packing it etc??
