Hi All

Posting on behalf of a dear friend, has a 2005 1.6 T3, basically wants to install a double din aftermarket stereo, having difficulty finding the right fascia.

I understand that there are quite a few old postings in regards to this topic, but as time has moved on, one wonders whether other manufacturers have developed a better fascia, previous posts talk about poor quality and fit and colour matches etc!

Thanks Guys :football:

Hey Sammy,

Not sure if I fit in to the 'lads' category :wheelchair::laughing:

Assume you have done the usual searches at big online Car stereo places plus Amazon and eBay etc.

Doubt there will have been any improvement in the adapters as in the UK it is an obselete model.

Have you thought about posting in the US Corolla forum and see if they still have any good adapters that fit your 2005 model.

Seem to remember some post saying the US made ones were better quality.

Hey thanks for looking up my thread! :flowers:

I am so sorry to say but that fascia looks terrible, surely that cannot be right, I would go as far as saying that it is unfit for purpose and advise to contact the seller to arrange a return, I understand that it was as cheap as £11.99 but its the principal!

I gave up some time ago looking for the right fascia, I hope you sort your issues out, that gap certainly is not normal.

Take care mate.

Sam
