I had my break pads and discs done a few days ago and have noticed the rear passenger wheel has a slight negative camber. Does anyone know if It is an expensive job getting this sorted?

Thanks

Take it to a centre which uses the Hunter Alignment machines for a proper check, its not that expensive, not only does the camber setting but also the correct alignment...have you had any work done on the suspension at all?

Heres a linky..I don't work for this company but they are very good.

Hi Mo,

I checked ToyoDIY, and in the suspension section, parts 48190-32010 and 48198-32040 are camber adjustments.

I hate to say someone is wrong, but in this case there is proof.

At the top of the hub is a boomerang shaped bar. This bar is attached to the body at the other end. The two adjustment parts are at both ends of the bar.

Your problem is finding someone who can do the adjustment and has the specs for your car.

We know that all Avensis have 4 wheel tracking adjustment.

Konrad, thanks for the reply mate. I will pop it into the garage I spoke to as they are happy to look at it for free. If they change there mind on what they told me over the phone then I will take it as an error. However if they continue to tell me that the camber on the Avensis cant be adjusted then I will be taking it somewhere else.

Hi Mo

Yes the camber is adjustable both front and rear on a T25 Avensis but the first thing to check for is wear on the suspension before any adjustments are made.

Regards Pete.

Thanks for the reply Pete, I am guessing the garage checking the camber could advise on that? Or is there a way of checking?
