You can't do it while moving (I bet that's where you're going wrong lol).

Use the steering wheel button to scroll thru menu to SETTINGS, hold the button in to select.

IIRC the time is the first on the menu, hold to select it. (Or single press to move thru the menu, then hold to select)

Adjust the hour one press at a time. Note the deminishing five dashes at the bottom..they're the timeout until it moves onto minutes.

Repeat for minutes, again with the dashes.

Navigate your way back out the menu using the press or hold and press sequences.
