New Auris Touring Sports Today

Picked up my new Touring Sports today (Excel 1.6 CVT). Well pleased with it so far. So quite, smooth and comfortable - quite simply a pleasure to drive. We have owned CVT gearboxes before so are used to the different driving experience.

I know that some magazine reviews have stated that the interior is a bit dull and 80's, but I think it is great. Not too cluttered, with everything close to hand and easy to use.

Not seen another on the road since I ordered it a month ago, so nice to be a bit unique for a while.

Anyway, I hope the experience lasts.

I also love the interior. How anyone can drive a brand new Ford Focus without throwing up every time they look down at the central console* is beyond me.

* I bet they sell a lot of the Sony upgrade packs, which replace the stock monstrosity.
